Screen display cut off due to wrong resolution setting.
Cause:
Display adapter cannot display color at selected resolution.
Solution:
Change the color resolution in Windows 95 'Control Panel'.
CAUTION: It is possible to set the resolution and color palette on non-standard video adapters where it will be difficult to read what is on the screen or find the mouse. If this happens, boot the system in 'Safe Mode' and restore the previous resolution and color palette settings using the same steps in the procedure below.
NOTE: Experiment with the effects of the resolution changes. Start with the lowest 'Color palette' (16 colors) and 'Desktop size' (640 x 480) selection until the desired effect is reached.
1) Click on 'Start' button to display the 'Start' Menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window displays.)
3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Select an option from the 'Color palette' drop-down list box.
